Currently, Fritz is promoting the release of his two new short films, Manic Man and Dona Nobis Pacem, which are proof of concepts for the feature adaption of re:attachment, based on the story behind his short of the same name. The script was the second round pick by the Sundance Institute for their 2025 Feature Track Development program. Alongside this, Fritz is working on producing his own feature debut inside the horror genre.

Crafting compelling narratives and bringing visionary stories to life on screen
re:attachment
re:attachment is my last major narrative short film, released back in 2022. Dealing with themes of childhood trauma, dissociation, anxiety, infatuation, violence, and sexual abuse, taking inspirations from movies like Prisoners and Mysterious Skin, my goal with this film was to bring people a step closer into understanding higher dimensions of reality in ourselves and understanding the true horrors that trauma inflicts upon its victims… and the process that takes place inside ourselves in the aftermath as a result.
These concepts stand alongside Manic Man and Dona Nobis Pacem, serving as proof of concepts for an expanded, feature film version of this story that was in the second round consideration by The Sundance Institute 2025 Feature Development Track.
Trauma. Dissociation. Integration.
Dona Nobis Pacem
Dona Nobis Pacem was conceived in early 2021, post-pandemic and derives a lot of its philosophies from shows like The Leftovers and True Detective (Season 1). It is a testament to my struggles with the concept of time moving forward and feeling stolen as I’m left behind in its tracks trying to grapple with past memories and future ambitions. It is also a reflection of the state of modern day society through the lens of someone on the fringes of his sanity.
Dona Nobis Pacem is a proof of concept for an expanded version of the re:attachment story that has more time to develop and dissect its heavy, philosophical themes in the interrogation room storyline.
Actaeon is interrogated by a detective following a grisly murder.
Take Me Out
Set over the course of one night in contemporary New York City, Take Me Out paints a searing portrait of depression and dysphoria as it dominates a young man’s warped perception of reality.
Depression, anxiety and general disconnection from commonly thought and accepted reality has been something I’ve struggled with my entire life. Take Me Out was my breakthrough film in discovering the stories I want to tell, and in telling this story I hope to bring people closer to understanding the darker aspects of our inner selves and the nature of the human mind. Only by exploring our depths can we even begin in reconnecting with ourselves.
Life can make us really desperate and hopeless sometimes, but is often a nice reminder that for whoever is joined in the living, there is hope.
Award winning Short film on Depression
It’s Gonna Be Alright
In this breakthrough short film shot on an iPhone 13 Pro starring Twesh Swain, we wanted to explore his identity as an Indian immigrant in Los Angeles through the lens of a real-life event that happened when his bicycle was stolen.
It's Gonna Be Alright was part of a competition for his school, Lee Strasberg, where we had 5 days to write, cast, film, edit, and submit a 3 minute maximum short film.

Thlípsi (Affliction)
A man who is paranoid and deluded by his own conspiracies that someone out there is after him must come to terms with the root of his suffering.
Thlípsi tells the story of a man battling through his psychotic hallucinations and bizarre, although to an extent fairly rational— disconnects from the society he lives in.
Inspired heavily by the likes of Blade Runner 2049, Vanilla Sky, and many other sci-fi paranoia conspiracy thrillers about control and reality, Thlípsi was a representation of my lifelong anxiety and tendency to run away/avoid a lot of my problems.
Constantly living in a daze and somehow expecting myself to make it out of the maze.
Heartbreaking depiction of the nature of psychosis
Dead Weight
When Damon and Jason find an unexpected surprise in the trunk of their drug drop car, their lives begin to reveal themselves from the inside out.
A no budget, one man crew piece filmed with the talents of Twesh Swain and Benjamin Williams.
One of my better showcases of directing actors while working with very little.
One man crew. Written, Directed, Shot, and Edited by yours truly.
The Riverman
The Riverman tells the story of a man who seeks closure from his unfulfilled youth that he cannot escape from.
The existence of darkness inevitably applies the coexistence of light.
Closure from the haunting memories
